Katie’s practice covers all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law in the United Arab Emirates and its free zones (including the Dubai International Financial Centre and the Abu Dhabi Global Market).
Katie advises employers on day-to-day compliance with employment laws, including recruitment and immigration issues, drafting and advising on employment contracts and policies, managing performance, employee transfers, bonus and commission disputes and issues arising on termination of employment including the enforcement of post-termination restrictions and the protection of confidential information. Katie also has significant experience advising on the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and reorganisations.
