Program Description

In December 2013, the Indian legislature passed a new law on the prevention of sexual harassment of women at the workplace. This has had a huge impact on companies doing business in India - on account of the various new obligations and the extremely stringent penalties (including the potential loss of license to operate in India) set out under this law. It is now absolutely essential for companies to understand the nuances of this law and suitably modify their HR practices to ensure compliance. In this context, Trilegal will be hosting a webinar that will discuss the features of the law and address key issues faced by multi-national companies operating in India.

The webinar will be offered twice, at the two time slots above – covering the same information both times – so that clients around the world have an opportunity to attend.

The Webinar Will Cover the Following:

Given the high stakes and the unique obligations under this law, the webinar will:

  • Discuss the critical features of the new law in detail;
  • Identify key compliance obligations;
  • Highlight key issues to be considered for creating India specific policies.
