Program Description

This free 60 minute webinar, presented by the Higher Education Council of the Employment Law Alliance, will feature attorneys from around the U.S. who specialize in labor and employee relations in the higher education setting. Participants will learn about the trends in unionization on campus and the application of the NLRB’s rules to organizing campaigns. Specifically, the session will cover:

  • The National Labor Relations Board’s updated election procedures;
  • Adjunct action and its campaign to organize contingent faculty;
  • Application of the Pacific Lutheran decision to religious institutions; and
  • Organizing efforts by graduate students, full-time faculty, and student-athletes.
