Webinar Description:

With the traditional academic year getting underway, campus administrators engaged in the application of disability discrimination statutes such as the ADA and Rehabilitation Act must prioritize compliance and risk mitigation efforts. This free 60-minute webinar, presented by the Higher Education Council of the ELA, will address three of the top ADA issues facing students, faculty, and administrators on campus:

  • Accessibility in on-line courses, programs, and activities
  • Student threatening conduct, including risks of self-harm
  • Intersection of the Supreme Court's pregnancy discrimination decision in Young v. United Parcel Service and disability discrimination statutes
