Alejandro Luna A. has been with SANTAMARINA Y STETA since 1992 and became a partner effective January, 1, 2004. He leads the firm’s immigration practice and his areas of expertise include general corporate matters, including mergers & acquisitions, foreign trade, life sciences and product regulation. Mr. Luna is an attorney at law from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City and also holds an LL.M. degree in International Business Transactions from King’s College London (KCL) of the University of London, UK. He is the co-author of several articles on Mexican immigration law and M&A transactions, including: the Mexico Chapter of the “International Expatriate Employment Handbook,” published by Kluwer Law International; and the Mexico Chapter of the Third Edition of “the Mergers & Acquisitions Review,” published by Law Business Research.
