Jacob Falsner is an attorney-at-law in Plesner's Employment and Labour Law team, providing general advice on employment and immigration law issues.
Jacob primarily focuses on the international aspects and the effect of EU law on Danish labour law. This area of expertise includes secondment and inpatriation of labour, immigration issues, work and residence permits, social security, international private law issues, etc.
Jacob's expertise also includes the labour law aspects comprised by collective labour law. Furthermore, Jacob has extensive experience in relation to the employment law aspects relating to private pension funds, and he advises on mergers and acquisitions, including insourcing and outsourcing processes.
Jacob has special knowledge of the labour law framework used in the offshore industry and also of temporary/untypical labour. At the beginning of 2016, Jacob received a PhD for his business PhD dissertation on "The Europeanized Temporary Agency Worker", which uncovered the employment law aspects of work undertaken by temporary agency workers in Denmark.
