Mr. González’s practice consists of counseling clients in a wide range of industries as well as handling federal and state litigation in all areas of labor and employment law.
For over 20 years, Mr. González has represented employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Antidiscrimination Unit and defended employers sued in local and federal courts under various federal and state laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and other employment laws and regulations. He represents employers in collective bargaining as well as before the National Labor Relations Board and labor arbitrations proceedings.
Mr. González regularly provides training and counseling to supervisors concerning investigations, discipline, compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations, prevention of discrimination and retaliation claims as well as union avoidance.
