August 10, 2023 Digital Nomads and Remote Workers Can Now Obtain a Residence Permit to Work From Uruguay On August 4, 2022, Decree 238/2022 issued by the Presidency of the Republic was published concerning the possibility that digital nomads can manage a Provisional Identity Sheet to work in the country for a period of less than 180 days, renewable, one time, for another hundred eighty (180) days.
