Rachael A. Fassler represents clients in employment disputes as well as advisory matters.
She litigates a full range of claims asserted by employees in all relevant forums, including allegations of discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblower retaliation and breaches of contract, as well as disputes involving restrictive covenants and trade secrets. Most recently, Rachael second-chaired two consecutive preliminary injunction hearings involving the successful defense of claims for trade secret misappropriation. Rachael also provides advice to employers regarding compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, including drafting workplace policies and agreements.
Rachael is also a member of the Associates Committee and the firm’s multidisciplinary Environmental, Social and Governance group from an employment perspective.
Rachael is committed to providing pro bono legal work. She regularly conducts depositions on behalf of the city of New York and advises the firm’s pro bono clients on employment-related issues. Prior to joining the firm, she successfully litigated claims under the Voting Rights Act, which resulted in the implementation of voting districts.
