Cássia Fernanda Pizzotti is the partner-in-charge of the Labor Consulting area at Demarest.Advogados. She has practiced as an attorney in the Labor area for over 15 years and currently focuses her practice in Labor Consulting on individual and collective labor matters. Ms. Pizzotti also lectures on several controversial labor issues and is the author of numerous articles regarding labor matters. Ms. Pizzotti graduated from Universidade de São Paulo in 1996 and was admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association - São Paulo Chapter (OAB/SP) in the same year.
Examples of the types of projects in which she has been involved include Collective Negotiations: (1) with workers unions for closing down factories, and (2) for layoffs, salary reduction, and working time changes; review of and recommendations on: (1) expatriation policies for banks and the chemical industry; (2) changes to bonuses and incentives plans; (3) procedures for acquisition of companies; (4) outsourcing projects; (5) changes to remuneration structure; and reformulation of business policies targeted to procedures and disciplinary measures related to compliance with companies' rules of professional conduct.
Ms. Pizzotti is fluent in English and Portuguese.
