A lawyer since 1978, Jean-Frédéric Salès is Senior and Managing Partner at Cabinet Salès, a firm established in 1907. He is also a member of the Bar Association of Port-au-Prince, the Inter-American Bar Association, the Union Internationale des Avocats, the International Trademarks Association, the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property, the Advisory Board of Tulane University Latin American Law Institute. A founding member of Université Quisqueya in Haiti, Jean-Frédéric has taught, Business Law, Labor Law, Social Security Law and Rules of Professional Responsibility at the Centre Universitaire International d’Haïti, the State University of Haiti and Université Quisqueya. He participated as a speaker in numerous seminars and conferences and published a labor code accompanied with case law annotations. He is also the author of numerous articles on the legal profession, the administration of justice, the issue of Haitian employment law, alternative disputes resolution, professional ethics, the relationship between business law and competitiveness. He was the National Consultant for the Center of International Trade in arbitration.
