Sonal has been a director with Anjarwalla & Khanna, a leading law firm in Kenya, for over 20 years. Sonal is also a director at ATZ Law Chambers in Tanzania (ALN’s Tanzanian firm with whom A&K works very closely). Prior to joining Anjarwalla & Khanna, Sonal worked at Franks Charlesly & Co. in London for 11 years (6 of these as a partner). She is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales with considerable experience in company commercial matters, employment, banking and project finance, mergers and acquisitions and insolvency.

Sonal sits on the Board of Directors of both Liberty Life Insurance Company Limited and Heritage Insurance Company Limited as well as being the Vice Chairperson of the British Chamber of Commerce in Kenya.
