Employment Law Alliance Founder and CEO Stephen J. Hirschfeld was the keynote luncheon speaker at the Association of Caribbean Corporate Counsel’s (ACCC) inaugural Caribbean Corporate Counsel Summit, which took place December 4-6 in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The Employment Law Alliance (ELA) is the world’s largest network of labor, employment and immigration attorneys.
The Caribbean Corporate Counsel Summit 2013 was the region’s largest gathering of corporate counsel and representatives to date, with members from 16 jurisdictions in attendance. Hirschfeld presented an overview of the ELA to the group.
“The ACCC plays a vital role in the Caribbean. The region’s growing economic impact, especially with respect to the financial services and hospitality industries, has made it a focal point for the Employment Law Alliance and an area in which we are actively expanding our member firm presence so as to strengthen our robust international network of resources for employers,” said Hirschfeld.
Formed in 2012, the ACCC is an association of corporate attorneys and in-house counsel throughout the Caribbean, working for private-sector corporations, non-profit organizations, law firms and governments. The group works to advance the business interests of its members through networking, advocacy and educational initiatives.
