SyCipLaw recently held its annual hiring cocktails at the SyCipLaw Center in Makati City, welcoming over 50 top law school seniors from across the Philippines for an evening of meaningful dialogue and engagement.
Partner and Hiring Committee Head John Regalado welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of pursuing impactful work in the legal profession, and how SyCipLaw can guide them in achieving that goal.
In his remarks, Managing Partner Hector M. de Leon, Jr. encouraged the attendees to envision their future with the Firm. “Think of the kind of future you can build at SyCipLaw – a future of growth and meaningful work,” he shared, inviting the attendees to connect with the Firm’s lawyers to learn more about its culture, values, and commitment to excellence.
The program also featured insights from several SyCipLaw Partners, including Jose Florante M. Pamfilo, Bhong Paulo A. Macasaet, Aaron Roi B. Riturban, Arlene M. Maneja, and Carlos Roberto Z. Lopez, who shared their professional journey at the Firm. They also spoke about mentorship, professional and personal development, and collaboration within SyCipLaw.
Following the formal program, the attendees engaged in thoughtful conversations with SyCipLaw lawyers about their legal aspirations after graduation. The session allowed them the opportunity to gain insights and make informed decisions about building a career with the Firm.
