Mahbub Hasan is an Associate in the Litigation department of Sattar&Co. Mahbub started his legal career at Sattar&Co., and currently is an integral part of the team and regularly assists in litigation matters.
While working at Sattar&Co., Mahbub has gained significant experience while assisting in several complex corporate cases before the High Court Division and the Companies Court, including on, inter alia, banking matters, admiralty matters, recovery of loans and acting against defaulter borrowers, as well as a good number of critical company matters including shareholders’ disputes. Mahbub also has substantial experience on arbitration-related matters.
As part of the team, Mahbub was involved in assisting with several significant disputes, which includes, inter alia, cases relating to shareholder protection, cases relating to share rectification; banking disputes relating to recovery of money and other related banking disputes relating to L/Cs and injunctions; cases relating to unlawful classification by the central bank and recovery suits against companies. Mahbub is also involved in arbitration matters arising from breach of contracts.
