Samantha Hults is an attorney with Rodey’s Labor and Employment.
Samantha earned a B.A. in Urban and Environmental Policy from Occidental College in 2001 and her JD in 2005 from the University of New Mexico. Since graduating from law school, Samantha has had both private and government practice experience, with a focus in employment and labor law. Most recently, she was a Deputy City Attorney at the City of Albuquerque Legal Department where she managed a number of divisions, including the Employment and Labor Division.
As a former Deputy City Attorney, Ms. Hults has a wide-range of litigation experience, including both jury and non-jury trials, and representing employers in administrative matters before various governmental agencies. Ms. Hults is familiar with local government regulations, ordinances and is also versed in the Family and Medical Leave Act, Title VII, the New Mexico Human Rights Act, the National Labor Relations Act, the New Mexico State Public Employment Bargaining Act (PEBA III), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other Federal, State and local employment and labor laws.
