Mike represents management in all areas of employment law and related litigation. He advises clients on current topics, new wage and hours provisions, and the impact of social media on human resources. In addition to having over 20 years’ experience litigating general business disputes, he defends employment discrimination and related claims in Rhode Island and Massachusetts state and federal courts, and before state and federal administrative agencies such as the RICHR, MCAD and EEOC. Mike has extensive experience in the negotiation, drafting and implementation of employment contracts, policies, handbooks and separation agreements, and has defended and prosecuted numerous lawsuits concerning non-competition agreements and trade secrets.
