On July 9, Decree 244/2021 (the Decree) was published in the Official Gazette of the City of Buenos Aires, which updates the schedule of activities in that jurisdiction.

Under the new schedule, starting July 9, professional activities in offices are authorized, “with an occupancy coefficient of THIRTY PERCENT (30%) of the capacity of the enclosed space, in relation to the maximum authorized capacity, and with ventilation consistent with the pertinent protocol.

In addition to the occupancy percentage and ventilation requirement, “(…) the guidelines indicated in the protocols approved for such activities” must be met. Therefore, in order to implement a mixed working scheme (on-site and remote work) or on-site only, it is key to analyze and implement the corresponding measures to prevent risks, including among others, health and safety measures in the establishment, as well as the employees' transportation conditions.
