Resolution No. 60/2021 of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security (MT), which replaced Section 3 of Ministry of Labor Resolution No. 207/20, was published today in the Official Gazette and stipulates that once the 2021 school year begins, parents or caretakers whose presence at home is essential to look after children or teenagers may be excused from in-person work under certain circumstances.

Those parents or caretakers must notify their employers and complete a sworn statement.

Only one parent or caretaker may be excused per household.
