Employees are excused from work on COVID-19 vaccination day

On February 26, Resolution 92/2021 of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security (the Resolution) was published in the Official Gazette ordering that employees be excused from work on the day their COVID-19 vaccine is administered.

To justify the absence with pay, the employee must have prior authorization from the employer and provide proof of vaccination or proof of vaccination of their dependent family members.
