Stéphane Gaudet practices his professional activities exclusively in employment law and labor relations. Stéphane advises employers and is involved in the strategic planning of their human resources and the administrative reorganization of their companies. He regularly acts as an employer negotiator during collective agreement negotiations. Mandates are entrusted to him by companies of all sizes, both in the private sector and in the public and parapublic sectors.
With the support of his colleagues, Stéphane also takes charge of all aspects of managing labor disputes, strikes or lockouts. He represents employers before the courts and administrative tribunals, including at the time of extraordinary appeals concerning the application of non-competition clauses and the protection of trade secrets.
Stéphane is a frequent speaker on various topical issues in labor law. He has also taught at the University of Montreal ( HEC and Polytechnique) the course Administration of the collective agreement, as well as that entitled Negotiation skills. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Ottawa and of the École polytechnique de Montréal, in civil engineering.
