Julie Zolty focuses her practice on various areas of labor and employment. She has experience handling a variety of litigation matters and regularly advises clients on issues related to discrimination (e.g., gender, race, national origin, religion, and age), retaliation, wage and hour, disability accommodations and medical leave, and Florida’s Whistleblower Act. Julie is also dedicated to finding amicable solutions for her clients outside the courtroom. Her experience also enables her to provide proactive, strategic guidance on employment policies. She routinely works with clients to develop, implement, and enforce personnel policies and procedures. Julie also frequently assists employers with updating handbook policies to minimize risk and streamline potential disputes.
Julie represents clients in many different industries, including local government, health care, and higher education.
In addition to her day-to-day practice, Julie often works with the Guardian ad Litem’s Defending the Best Interest of the Child Project to advocate for neglected children needing representation. She is a thoughtful advocate, dedicated to furthering the success of clients whether inside or outside the courtroom.
