Personal Background

Leigh Polk Cole is a shareholder and director of Dinse, Knapp & McAndrew, P.C. in Burlington, Vermont. She leads the firm’s Immigration Group, which represents clients throughout the United States and abroad in U.S. immigration matters. Her practice consists of representing U.S. educational and health care institutions and companies employing or educating foreign nationals in the United States. Representative matters include compliance and SEVIS approval for F-1 international student and J-1 exchange visitor programs at colleges, universities, secondary schools and other sponsoring organizations; immigration for physicians and other health care professionals; 212(e) waivers; and immigration matters involving H-1B, TN, L-1 and O nonimmigrant status and permanent residency.
