Firm Background

Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC is ranked among the top 200 law firms in the United States based on revenue (Am Law 200®), we have expanded to eight offices dotting New York State, with arms in Florida and Kansas, housing more than 250 attorneys—all without sacrificing that small-firm feel. Clients say that our attorneys are a pleasure to talk to. From the moment you pick up the phone for a consultation you’ll get a sense of our collegial atmosphere; there is a reason some of our present clients can be traced back to the early 20th century.

Bond’s Labor and Employment Law practice was recognized as a Tier 1 National Practice by U.S. News - Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" for employment law – management; labor law – management; and litigation – labor & employment. In addition, in the 2018 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, Bond has more Employment Law – Management and Labor Law – Management attorneys recognized than any other firm in New York State. Our labor and employment attorneys are consistently engaged in thought leadership. In addition to our flagship “Workplace” conference – a state-wide, annual, full-day seminar on current issues facing employers – our attorneys showcase their knowledge to clients and peers on a consistent basis, presenting near-weekly lectures and webinars, publishing on our blog sites, and speaking on panels. In addition, a number of our members actively serve as members and chairs of committees within their respective state bar associations.

We are proud to showcase our practice group organization, structured to enable the greatest possible range of service to our employer-side clients. Our practice group of more than 70 labor and employment lawyers – with 14 selected by their peers for inclusion in the 2018 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® – is able, at a moment’s notice, to engage the prowess of our intellectual property and technology team, conference in our lawyers in litigation and cybersecurity, or consult with our environmental and energy team – all in the effort of providing comprehensive representation to our clients. Simply put, we marshal our experience and firm atmosphere into a platform of comfort and security for our clients.

Our clientele is as varied as our practice areas. We represent multinational Fortune 500 corporations, regional and small businesses, technology and finance firms, higher education and health care institutions, school districts, municipalities and nonprofit organizations. We counsel, train and represent employer-side clients through the labyrinth of statutes and regulations, and zealously represent their interests before state and federal courts and administrative bodies, including the EEOC, Department of Labor, OFCCP, OSHA, NLRB and INS, together with their state branches.

It is the collective philosophy of our firm to expeditiously cater to the ongoing needs of our clients while actively anticipating their needs of the future. We have worked hard in developing Bond into one of the nation’s top 200 law firms: collegial, competent and committed.
