Fernando has over 12 years of experience in the legal profession. His specializations include the Corporate & Commercial, Public Law, Constitutional, Public Procurement & Regulation, and Labor & Employment practice areas.
In Corporate & Commercial, he advises national and international companies in many aspects of day to day operations, and offers notary services in this field. Regarding Labor & Employment, he oversees guiding companies in Labor Law matters such as regulations, policies, and internal structures. In Public Law, Constitutional, Public Procurement & Regulation, his experience includes Public Administration acquisition and hiring processes, as well as sanctioning processes.
Fernando joined the BLP team as an Associate in 2017, after having worked as an Attorney for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock since 2014. Previously, he was also Head of the Department of Farming Associations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Work Inspector at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and Judicial Collaborator of GEVESA Group. He was also a professor at Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas in Legislation Applied to Marketing.
Fernando graduated in Juridical Sciences from Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas in 2005. Likewise, he obtained a Diploma in Labor Law from Universidad Tecnológica of El Salvador in 2006, a Specialization in Administrative Law from the University of Salamanca in 2007, and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas in 2016.
Fernando currently lives in San Salvador, El Salvador.
