Hrvoje founded his firm, Vidan Law Office, in 2003 after working for several years at one of the major and most knowledgeable Croatian law firms and then in a co-operative relationship with a large Austrian law firm, where he was responsible for the Croatian region. Hrvoje currently is a day-to-day advisor to a number of international companies doing business in Croatia and has participated as an advisor in a number of M&A, PPP, and privatisation projects such as sale of Splitska Bank, sale of Ersrte Bank, acquisition of Suncani Hvar, acquisition of Oktal Farma, acquisition of Zagrebtower, intended acquisition of Valjaonica Cijevi Sisak, acquisition of Zagreb Osiguranje, and intended acquisition of Hlad.
In addition to his legal practice, Hrvoje serves as a supervisory board member of the Croatian-EU business council; he helped to organize the Croatian Lobbyist Association and was appointed as President of its Court of Honour; and, in 2010, he was both elected a judge in the Croatian Bar, charged with deciding disciplinary matters, and appointed as an arbitrator for the domain names dispute resolution. Hrvoje is the author or co-author of a number of legal articles published in Croatia and abroad. He speaks fluently English, German and Croatian and has basic skills of Italian.
