Fahrul S. Yusuf is a partner at SSEK Legal Consultants and leads the firm’s labor and employment practice. He is also a member of the firm’s banking and finance practice and corporate mergers and acquisitions practice.
Fahrul is experienced in all aspects of Indonesian labor and employment law. This includes advising corporate clients on severance matters, personnel policies and work rules, employment contracts, collective labor agreements, pension funds, secondment arrangements, labor disputes and social security programs. Fahrul is particularly active in advising companies on labor and employment matters in relation to a merger or acquisition.
In addition to labor and employment mattes, Fahrul is heavily involved in helping clients establish corporations and with foreign investment deals, mergers and acquisitions, and various restructurings.
Fahrul was named a Rising Star for Financial and Corporate Law in the 2017 IFLR1000 guide to leading financial and corporate law firms and lawyers. He was named the Young Lawyer of the Year at the 2016 Asian Legal Business Indonesia Law Awards.
Fahrul graduated in 2003 from the University of Indonesia Faculty of Law and earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Chicago in 2010. In June 2008, he participated in the Academy of American and International Law in Dallas, Texas.
