Mr. Court is a graduate of Oklahoma State University (B.A., '69) and Harvard Law School (J.D., '72). He joined the firm in 1972. He served as a JAG in the U.S. Air Force from 1973 to 1977, when he returned to Crowe & Dunlevy. Mr. Court is a member and past chairman of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group which he established. Mr. Court has served as a member of the United States Chamber of Commerce Labor Relations Committee since 1997. In 1999, he was appointed chairman of the Wage, Hour and Leave Subcommittee.
Mr. Court is listed in Who's Who in the World, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Guide to Leading U.S. Labor and Employment Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America (Labor and Employment Law), Who’s Who in American Education; and The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers (Labor and Employment Law).
Mr. Court was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in 1997. He is one of only two practicing Oklahoma attorneys to be inducted.
Mr. Court was named one of Best Lawyers in America® "Lawyers of the Year" for Labor and Employment Law Management in Oklahoma City for 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Mr. Court is one of only two Oklahoma attorneys listed in the "star" category in Chambers, USA America's Leading Business Lawyers 2006 and has been ranked by Chambers as Band 1, the highest ranking, since the organization’s inception in 2004.
