Philippe Durand is a partner in the employment group at August-Debouzy in Paris, France. He specializes in all aspects of French employment and social security matters and advises a wide range of French and foreign clients in France in issues relating to Individual and collective employment relationships; employees’ remuneration; dealing with staff and representatives unions; collective lays offs (plans sociaux); profit-sharing schemes; and employment aspects of corporate decisions (acquisition, sale, restructuring, outsourcing, etc.). He qualified as a solicitor in New York in 1989 & in Paris in 1992. After 10 years spent in Paris with a major British firm, Philippe joined August & Debouzy in 2000.
